I honestly could have walked right past this place and not realized what I was missing. From the front, you can barely tell it’s the hip and delicious Mexican restaurant that it is, especially because the name itself doesn’t give that much away. But, if you are lucky enough to eat here, you are in for a treat. There are three areas to chose from: inside seating, covered outdoor, and outdoor patio. All are great, but we chose the covered outdoor seating because it was cold and the covered area had heating. But the patio would be a great place for a larger party. If you are going to eat here, you either need extensive knowledge on Mexican ingredients, or must enjoy trying new and exciting food. The dishes are pulled from the owner’s travels and are flavorful creations like nothing I’ve ever had before. Though a little pricey, and a bit heavier than I typically prefer, it is completely worth it. I had what was described to me as a mole pizza, and it was amazing. But it doesn’t seem to be on the menu anymore which is both sad because it was really good, but also great, because this means that they update their menu. When you go, try their guacamole and chips (clearly homemade) and if you can, their margaritas. I am not normally a margarita fan, as I don’t really care for lime or tequila, but I had three during the course of my meal and could have had many more.I will definitely be back, not just for more of the same, but also to try their Platos Fuertes (a well priced family-style Mexican meal – what could be better?).Overall AMAZING experience!
We had dinner here on a Saturday night around 9pm. The restaurant was busy but we were seated at the bar right away. We watched the kitchen staff work while enjoying great chips with guacamole and three salsas, pork enchiladas with mole, fish tacos and grilled corn on the cob served mexican style. The food was great, the service was very good and the margaritas were excellent.
