Don’t let the Chinese food sign fool you. This is a lovely and very homey Creole/Cajun place with amazing food for really good prices.I shared a combo plate (you can chose two of ANY of the day’s options) and still ended up beyond stuffed. After sampling many (and I mean MANY) of the various options, we got half chicken gumbo and half Bourbon red beans with hot links. It came with INCREDIBLE baked bread that had been drizzled with some kind of house-recipe-infused-olive-oil. Not only were both dishes beyond delicious, a plethora of hot sauces and condiments were available to add on. To be honest, the dishes really didn’t need anything extra, after coming with bread, cheese, sour cream, and onions (all optional and free of charge), but the shear number of hot sauces available make you want to try a couple. What I really admire is how green Easy Creole is! Everything is reusable and if I remember correctly, they have a compost for any leftovers.

The staff is really nice and they let you taste before you order which is good because I didn’t really know southern food before I went here. Also the half and half option makes choosing easier. And do try their multiple hot sauces if you have the stomach for it!
