I love Fonda. Great variety of delicious Mexican tapas in a pleasant, albeit noisy, environment. I have been to this restaurant many times, but it never fails to surprise me. That is, doubtless, a statement to its quality.The service was always very good, and for dessert, this place has one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for an eclectic, yet traditional option on Solano, I strongly recommend Fonda.
Had a great night at Fonda yesterday. Their tapas plates are equal parts filling and delectable. We tried their Patatas Bravas, the Guac & Chips, Enchiladas, Broccolini with garlic, Quesadillas and the Tamales. The only miss were the quesadillas. The Sangria was very good but could have done with less ice and a broader glass.

Amazing fish tacos!! Light polenta crust, flavorful, flaky , moist fish… Excellent lightly flavored slaw & a smashing hot sauce on the plate!!!
