One of the best meals I have ever had! I’m am somewhat tuna obsessed so we ordered the tuna poke appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. For my dinner I got the Teka Don Dinner which was slices of tuna over rice with soup and salad. Everything was wonderful. The salad was fresh and so was the fish. The only thing to know is that it can get pricey and the lines are very long. If you live close enough I would recommend driving or walking over and putting your name on the list and then coming back. They also have a nice sake bar where you can wait and eat appetizers while waiting to be seated. Definitely worth the wait and the price. I hope to be back here not too long from now. Happy dining!
One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in the Bay Area !. Kirala has awesome Japanese food. The lines are usually long to get in and they really care about the food they put out for customers. Not sure if the policy is still intact but they refused to do takeout orders because it compromised the quality of their food. Now that is dedication. Try the outstanding sushi and the meat from the grill. My girlfriend at the time was born in Japan and she loved the food here. Give it a try and prepare to wait on line but the wait is worth it.
I love – love Kirala!!!! The customer service is great, the atmophere is great, & the food is AWESOME! They have the freshest ingredients that I have ever had, everytime!! I drive from Walnut Creek just to have sushi there!
I have been to almost every sushi resturant in the bay area and this is by far the best. The price is higher which it should be because of the quality of the sushi.
Fun atmosphere with great sushi. This place has a fun atmosphere and great food. The sushi chefs are very friendly and entertaining if you are seated at the sushi bar. I have never been disappointed by the food here. The plates are quite large and beautifully arranged, and the food is Amazing.
