Ninos delivers the best pizza in our neighborhood. They are not super fast but that doesn’t matter to me. If you dine in it is rarely busy so you can always get a table. Ambience is weak but the pizza is very good.
Just give these peole your money.. Casue they dont mess around with their food. I’ve never had better croquettes (and I’ve had a lot). Also, their black peas stewed thing is amazing. Everything tastes as homemade as possible, and it’s all VERY well seasoned. They deliver, and they dont get enough recognition. I recommend them.
A bit of Brazil in Berkeley. Nino’s is a hidden gem. You’ve probably flown by the place a million times as you drive down MLK in Berkeley. My advice — stop and check it out. I’ve been a patron of Nino’s for over 15 years and have spent many happy nights enjoying the Brazilian food and pizza (including Brazilian-style pizzas with hearts of palm and other interesting toppings). The feijoada is fabulous and plentiful. The service is sometimes on the slow side, so bring your vacation attitude with you. But this is a family-run joint not to be missed.I just miss the old days when Thursdays meant great live music at Nino’s. Bring back the music, Mario!
