Pizzahhh! (Italian/American). This little gem on Berkeley’s Northside serves up some of the best pies in the city. Though unorthodox in size (each personalized pizza is a foot in diameter, not two like most others), the flavors are familiar and somewhat upscale. Fresh vegetables and greens, salami, prosciutto, and goat cheese are among the most popular toppings, and various combinations of those four make the most popular slices. A pair of convenient daily pizzas await walk-ins and take out orders (a la Cheeseboard Pizza). Although the service is excellent, speedy, and friendly, Pizzahh’s decor and general cleanliness is pretty poor, knocking a few points off an otherwise stellar rating.
