It’s just breakfast people…. I love Rick and Ann’s as much as the next guy, but I was there recently and the line was outrageous… maybe I’m just bitter that we didn’t actually get to go
Best Breakfast, Hands Down. Ok, the breakfasts are the ones of my dreams, but even I wouldn’t suffer through a weekend wait for a table. A weekday morning when the flexibility allows is nirvana for this taste of the Berkeley/Oakland hills. The Southern Comfort breakfast takes me back to my childhood and improves on it!
Great location across from the Claremont resort. Had the manhattan: lox scramble with choice of bagel. Eggs were cooked perfect: not overcooked like most brkfst places. Others had the orange cardamom French toast: soft and not overly sweet; the cornbread pancakes; and the special surf and turf scramble with bay shrimp, bacon, and green chilies. Around $12-15 per person, but friendly service, great food, and a great location makes it worth it.
Amazing amazing breakfast. Extremely fresh and flavorful menu. One of the best breakfast places in re bay area. You MUST try the french toast it will blow your mind.
