Wow….I am super disappointed! I write my review with a heavy heart…I have not been to Sauls in a few years…I was SO excited to dine here with my husband…we ordered a turkey sandwich…driest,smallest sandwich I’ve ever seen….I watched another turkey sandwich arrive at the next table that was THREE times the size of mine….I asked the waiter what happened to my sandwich? My knish was delicious…the whitefish salad was incredible…BUT my bagel was O L D and toasted to the point I could chip a tooth on it- not edible. My cheesecake tasted spoiled. My macaroon burned,dry,couldn’t eat either of them…THEN I attempted to use the bathroom….I SLIPPED on an oily dirty floor! Oily…not wet…oily. I DRAGGED my sweet husband across town to eat….I prodded him with memories of prior tasty meals eaten at Sauls…I felt foolish. They were out of seltzer water,no chocolate babka,no chocolate macaroons,no this no that…the service was great…except for the slimy floor where the waitstaff told me that it’s not a big deal because I didn’t fall!!!! Sigh…..really really bad food-
