Arrived for lunch (just some sushi). The ambiance is nice and the large windows make it very inviting. The chopsticks are metal and the fountains add a lot to the space. Got water right away but then the waitress ignored us for almost 10 minutes. When e told her we were ready she still went to another table to give them a menu and pour water for them. She did not apologize. Still had to wait another 30 minutes for the food which was good but the service being terrible pushes me towards not wanting to go back. We ordered a Miso soup, a rainbow dragon roll, spicy tuna roll, and a cucumber roll.
Sushi 29 is terrific. I come here once a week and every time it’s great. Chef Eddie at the bar is an excellent host and an outstanding sushi chef. The fish is always very fresh and masterfully cut. His rolls and creativity in flavors and presentation are excellent. The pan fried dumplings are delicate and amazingly delicious. The halibut and uni are outstanding. The service is great. This place should be mobbed every night.
