One of my favorite Indian places in Berkeley. I used to hate Indian food until I tried Indian food in Berkeley which is amazing, let me repeat – AMAZING. I never knew naans and curries could be so delicious – I guess that’s what happens when you get stiff competition, the quality goes waaay up! Curries are fabulous – loved the saags and tikki masala. I always get everything extra spicy, but it still ins’t that spicy. I always get their fried paneer – delicious with their tamarind sauce. Curries and other dishes overall are nice and flavorful, lots of richness as well as punch from the diversity of spices. It’s kind of funny how the only items on the menu at Tandoori Nite that fall short are their… tandooris. The flavoring on their meats are not the most vibrant and there isn’t very much else on the plate (not even onions etc). Lunch buffet is a steal and they have a lot of their dishes available – only 9.99. Includes naans and dessert! I usual come for dinner though which is still extremely well priced!
