In Berkeley this is definitely my favorite and go-to spot for Korean food. They have good prices, flavorful and spicy food, and friendly service. I usually do takeout, but eating in is super easy and more like a cafeteria style with buzzers to call you to get food, not so much a service restaurant. I always get their seafood tofu soup, their spicy is great because it’s actually spicy! Seafood is a bit dry sometimes, but the tofu is wonderful and soft. Their bibimbap is also yummy, I like their side dishes so their toppings on their bibimbap are also delicious. Everything is well seasoned and salted. Don’t forget to put in the spicy sauce! Food is usually decently quick, it can get busy sometimes so it’s a bit slow. Conveniently located just off the UC Berkeley campus so it’s definitely a place students go to eat.
