Over The Top Yummy!!!. I sually go here to drink but this time I took a friend who was visiting from back east there. I had the pork chop topped w/beans & she had the duck- both were amazing. The pork chop was huge, bone -in & cooked to perfection. The multi-bean medley was in a creme sauce complementing the dish. The duck was every bit as mouthwatering so you will not be disappointed either way. Also their cocktails are generous to say the least. I has a perfectly made martini that was the equivalent of 2 in some other places.

Nice buzz. Bustling neighborhood restaurant. Fun.
Best Burger in Oakland. I love this place. The staff knows how to treat the customer and they do it so well. I’ve gotten into sitting at the short counter facing the cook and it’s delightful to be able to watch his preparation and skill. The burger here almost brings me to tears, although I would suggest a different bun and that they add more than a smidgen of cheese to a cheeseburger. That said, what you get is delicious. The gnocchi is also delectable and the sandwiches I’ve had (all very fatty meats…pork and pastrami) have been terrific, if a tad heavy. I can’t eat more than half of one at a sitting. But saving the other half for later always works!
So amazing er went back two…. So amazing we went back two nights in a row. Noisy, happy, and delicious. The roasted and sauted specialties were our favorites: gnocchi, pasta, chicken and pork are all delish.
Best restaurant in the neighborhood hands down!! Get the pork chop.
