I consider myself a steak connoisseur, so I thought I would visit boa as I found it listed in LAs top ten steak houses. We ordered a tomahawk and a wagyu beef steak, the $98 wagyu steak was comparable to a cheap New York strip and the tomahawk was sinewy, with the ends so dry and fatty they were inedible. It tasted old and was very dry, as if they had messed up their ageing process, or the pan was not cleaned properly and cooked on old fat from the previous steak. The side dishes were also a let down. Overall, incredibly underwhelming and far from deserving of the price tag.
