I dont know why this place doesnt have a higher rating. Ive ordered food twice and each time everything was perfect. I asked them to spice the food up a bit cause usually it isnt spicy. I had Chicken Tikka Masala, paneer makhani and dal makhani. Every dish was perfectly prepared. Im going there again this weekend.
I have been to the nirvana that is just in front of this restaurant and I did find this restaurant much better in terms of the dcor and service. The owner is really nice and friendly and comes up personally to each table to take a feedback. Some staff seems to be rude or may be disinterested and which was the low point of the dinner at this restaurant. In terms of taste this place is good. One time visit, as it is costlier than normal Indian restaurant because of the location.
It was a great fun over there. We were very hungry & the food that was served was awesome. Restaurant was quite spacious & well maintained. The best part was green chutney..
The food does not come close to Indian food. It’s not just about spices, it really lacks taste. Also, the staff seemed a bit too uninterested.
We had an office get together at this place some time back, this place is very cozy and comfortable, the host are very accommodating and polite. Unlike most of the Indian restaurants in LA, it does not have a typical Indian decor which is refreshing. The host mentioned us that most of the big Indian celebs (Actors, Actresses) frequent this place whenever they are in LA.Before I mention about the food, I would specifically want to highlight that I am not sure whether they serve Halal or not. I enquired and the answer was in affirmative, however they do not have any certificate nor do they mention it in their menu or anywhere publically. The food is good, I ordered Paneer curried, samosas, shrimp, rotis etc… they were all good. Most of the people in my group liked the food.I would have given more rating if I could have tasted their non veg dishes, which I could not because of the obvious.Am i coming here again?… aahhh not sure.
Excellent Indian restaurant. Impressive dining room with friendly and knowledgeable Indian staff. This is a rare gem as good Indian restaurants are hard to find in the US. Perfect spicing and lovely fresh naan breads. Will return!
An Indian Oasis in the USA. I have spent eleven weeks traveling around the US with my final destination being LA. At each location we tried to find good quality food to satisfy, veggies, carnivores, lactos, coeliacs, etc. The rest of my crew know how much I love Indian food and promised me the best Indian ever in LA. I have to say that it was a big challange. When we got inside and I saw the rather tame menu I was expecting the worse. But then Deep Sethi the manger came out, recognised my accent and we got down to business with some real Anglo-Indian food. What turned out to be one of the best Indian meals I have ever had, was in the most unlikely spot. The staff were great, and the food excellent, well presented, well cooked, lovely; plus they were able to cater for all the complicated eating requirements of ten of us.If your in Beverly Hills and your looking for a great Indian meal with friends and family, then take it from me that this is the most authentic Indian you will find in the US.
