Love this place. Their interpretation is authentic and spot on. You feel like the staff is truly interested in telling you about the food, where it comes from, how Italians like that particular dish served. The wines are always superb. Compared to their new Osteria Drago in West Hlywood, this place is the real thing. You can sit down and enjoy a lively meal, be treated as though you are family and you don’t have to deal with folks who are more interested in frequenting the latest hottest trendiest restaurant.

Top Bottarga. There’s never been an argument about the quality of food at Drago – it’s almost unanimously enjoyed. But their Bottarga has to be ranked as the best in Los Angeles and I’m making it my personal mission to compare it to bottarga dishes worldwide. I think it will rank right up there and I can’t wait to find out, one forkful at a time.
