Probably the best meal of our trip! Decided not to go to the overpriced restaurant that we had a reservation at that a colleague recommended, and went here instead because it was right next to our hotel. The concept was new to us, so we really enjoyed the different types of marinated meats that are brought out.Found out after that this is a chain and we now have one in our hometown, so will definitely have to go try that one!
We went in on a Sunday for brunch and it was in a pretty nice area. They advertise there is free parking, but the free parking is very limited. Its on the border of Bevery Hills and the city of Los Angeles so be careful of where you park as some parts are permit parking only. Luckily the valet parking isn’t too expensive if you have no luck finding parking on the streets.Service wise it was ok, it took our server to get back to us for a long time which was strange because it wasn’t busy at all and we were only 2 other small groups of people there aside from ours. Towards the middle of our stay we somehow ended up with another waitress so I’m not too sure what happened to the other one.It wasn’t too smoky like how a lot of other places are which is good! I didn’t get the bbq, but I did get the ramen and it wasn’t bad. I also got edamame with the garlic seasoning. The other people in my group did the dineLA special and got bbq and appetizers. The only thing is the size of the tables are very small and there ends up being a lot of plates to fit on the table which was tough for our group of 4.Overall, it is a pretty decent place to eat at, but check their site for deals because they will not advertise it to you when you get there. lovejessicarae.com
No smokey smells in my hair!. Monday September 8 DinnerLove the flavours of marinadeLove the large choice of cuts and meat varietyLove the prompt, friendly serviceLove the uber happy atmosphere… especially when its someones birthday..Love the ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR MONDAYS!!Our server Grace was absolutely amazing! Super engaging, informative, speedy and not over the top. Just perfect service. One of the best Japanese BBQ’s I’ve ever been to.. my hair didn’t smell after which is fabulous. 🙂
Had a great time with the whole family. Helpful waitress, extensive happy hour menu and delicious food. Minimum $15 per person and $5.50 for parking. Very reasonable for the quality.
Follow the waitress’s guidance and you can not go wrong. My experiences have me sticking to the various beef selections.
