This is simply the best Japanese restaurant in LA. No need to order, just let the chef bring you some of the amazing specials. Housenka only has 5 tables and a bar that seats 8. The food here ranges from raw fish, cooked meats (any part of the cow, pig, chicken or fish) raw meat, incredible kim che fried rice, and great soup. I recommend the seared beef tongue, sushi/sashimi of the day, raw meat, or any of the specials. Truely a hidden gem.
