Tagine the name says it all, it’s about Moroccan food and this place on Beverly Hills practically sets you up for a night in Morocco. Ambience 4/5:It’s a small dim lit restaurant with a very intimate, cosy and romantic feel which makes you forget time. Its romantic music ,velvet sitting and candle lit tables adds to the romance Service 4/5: Service was sufficiently attentive and personable. Be prepared for a leisurely meal as some of the dishes take a while to get to the table. This place is small and very popular so plan reservations. Food 4/5: The food is a journey of tastes you likely have never eaten, but you should. Words can’t do this justice, you just have to try it yourself. We had the tasting and little bit of everything, the chef brought out every course of this exotic cuisine and told us how it was made. Everything we tried was amazing, from the food down to Sangria, I am still dreaming of the delicious Sangria . The lamb with the honey sauce literally melts in your mouth. The food tempts your senses by its presentation and flavors! The two standouts for me were the Scallops Bastille ( Tiny scallops sauted with veggies topped with phyllo hat in a honey enhanced sauce that you don’t want to waste) and the chocolate soup ( hot, thick and rich chocolaty sauce that is poured over ice cream so it starts to melt) for dessert. Both were unlike anything I’ve ever had elsewhere, definitely worth a try!!!!Value for money 3/5: This place is a little pricey but guys it’s a romantic place on Beverly Hills serving quality of food n an unforgettable night !!!An extraordinary place with authentic Moroccan cuisine and a must try for a romantic date

The Moroccan French Laundry. All I can say is wow!We live right around the corner from this place, and have walked by many times wondering what the place was really like. Finally went for dinner last night. Chef Ben (the owner and head chef) is the Moroccan Thomas Keller. This guy is the most gracious, passionate, and friendly restaurant hosts/owners that we’ve ever come across. And, of course, the food is just sublime. Every item on the tasting menu was delicious and beautifully presented. Really can’t wait to go back.Definitely give this place a try. Don’t be put off by the location or small venue. These guys are at the top of their game. It’s truly not only a neighborhood gem, but a true top-ranked L.A. restaurant. Thanks, Chef Ben!!
