Wow. Trattoria Amici new Chef really rock!!!he added soo many new dishes: the whole roasted branzino and the pasta with black truffle are among the best.the service was attentive llke always and the free home made biscotti with the coffe was a nice touch.
One of my prefered restaurants. In the last month i went 3 times in this small italian restaurant and everythime i got great food and service.best dishes: the ravioli with the lobster and zucchine and the pappardelle with lamb ragu
The location was nice being a little hole in the wall resturant. The service of excellent though I would give up some service for better food. My chicken was flat and tasted like the tire off of a moped. Our pizza was very plain but like I said the service was very gpod.
Love it.. I am a huge fan of just about every form of Mediterranean cooking, and I have to say that there is so much good food coming out of the kitchen at Amici. I cook for fun, though I would do anything to quit my job and become a chef. Well, that’s not happening anytime soon. But I have saved up to take cooking classes in Italy, and Greece. I really love so many of the dishes at Amici, because it reminds me of my time there. The fish mixed grill platter features some outstanding prawn, which has the same taste to my palate as what I ate in Greece. My experiences at Amici have been really satisfying, and it seems like it is getting better and better there
Cozy & Romantic. Very cute, romantic little restaurant. Great service, good food, not great, but good. The burrata salad was ok, not very flavorful. The lobster salad with green apples was also ok, the lobster was a little overdone. The mixed grill (whitefish, salmon, Hawaiian prawn) was good, although the Hawaiian prawn was a little overdone. My favorite dish at Amici was their canellini bean dip, (served with the bread before our meal). The dip was very savory and delicious! The atmosphere at Trattoria Amici is perfect for a date. Small, yet intimate, even though the tables are close to each other, you still get the feeling that you are in your own little bubble.
One of the best italian in los Angeles. The lobster spaghetti are to die for, and so the lamb and the tiramisu, nice wine list great service, nice patio and moderate prices.dont miss it!!!
Good food and charming place. One of the best italian restaurants, we had the carciofi salad and the grilled asparagus for starter, the rigatoni salsiccia and the polletto for maincourse. All the food was eccellent, so the service. charming and romantic the patio.we will be back!!!
