Catalano’s – BEST Pizza in Long Beach. Christine, the BOSS, is not only a good pizza maker, she is a master at it. She has upped the bar for Catalano’s, both in quality and service. This is not only a great pizza kitchen (American style, loaded with toppings and with a medium thick crust), but also great service for pick-up. Order often and they remember your order (….. following five toppings……..)
Pasta was not liked. We saw the promising reviews and tried a couple pasta dishes. The sause tasted like they just opened a can of tomato sause and poured it over the noodles. I don’t recall specifically what we had both both my wife and I had different dishes and ate what we wanted dissapointinly and even though there was a lot left, tossed it.Hopfully the pizza is good but the pastas were not at all
Good Pizza & pasta at reasonble price. Would suggest take out. Would not consider this a romantic place to take a date, unless you have been married for 20 years. Bring a flower or two if you do.
Delicious pizza and spaghetti.. The pizza is very tasty.The spaghetti and big fat meetball is great and the buttertoast that comes with the pizza and the other italian dishes is great. The salads are really good to and they come with a wonderfully tasting italian dressing brand.
