Best Sushi Ever. I have traveled far and beyond the normal in an effort to find great sushi. I have had meals served with 24 carat gold chop sticks that didnt compare to the rolls here. My favorite is the VIZZY, and i must say that one VIZZY roll and a miso soup is more then a meal. It is very filling and rather rich. I lived in Hollywood for a few years and had a friend live walking distance to this hole in the wall sushi spot. I am once again living on the east coast and regularly crave and desire the amazing sushi rolls. However i must warn you that if you are the typical stuck up SoCalian that you may want to stick with KOI as this is NOT a high end spot and they will not make you believe you are the movie star you are not! On that note, KOI is great too, love there spicy tuna on crispy rice, the best i found. Really, try a VIZZY rolll with a miso soup, i ate them together as the soup was a great compliment to wash down the amazingness of the VIZZY!

Vegetarian Friendly Sushi. As a vegetarian who enjoys sushi, it is very exciting to find a place that offers more than cucumber and asparagus rolls. What a bore. Here, they have one of my favorite rolls of all time: Sweet potato tempura and cream cheese. Sounds weird, but is AMAZING. Prices aren’t out of control, but aren’t cheap either. No fountain drinks. It’s a very small space, but we’ve always gotten a table.
Creative Fusion Sushi. Came here on a friend’s recommendation and have to say it’s the best sushi for the price in LA. Rolls are super-creative and the fish is fresh. A definite must-try if you’re stuck in West LA and looking for a quick bite. The spot is super low-brow, almost feels like a food court order-at-the-counter spot, so don’t go to impress a date, but the excellent sushi is a pleasant surprise.
Best fusion sushi. The fusion style sushi taste really good… makes me wanna come back… the place was simple and not luxury… but the foods are great… eventhough they make fusion sushi, it doenst taste weird or too much… my favorite is Lupe…a sushi topped with crab in mayonesse and baby scallop…
