  I’ve spend whole summer working on location close to this restaurant. I’ve tried a lot of food from Il Piccolo Verde. My personal favorites are Spaghetti Carbonara, Pollo Alla Diabola and Quattro Stagioni Pizza. Food is fresh, very tasty and flavorful. Love their delivery service which brought me my food to location I was working at in no time. Food is very reasonable priced when compared to other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood. This restaurant has become one of the places to refer friends too.

  Delicious Food, Great Service!. This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem, quiet, gorgeous, and delicious plus what a refreshing experience with suburb service! We came here for dinner on a Friday night and ordered a salad, appetizer, and chicken diavola. Large portions and great Italian cooking. The service was above and beyond as everyone was very friendly and attentive. Nice patio space too, reasonable prices! Will definitely be back

  Excellent Brentwood Italian!. We have been dining here regularly since San Gennaro, the old neighborhood Italian bistro, abruptly left. It has been an amazing addition to the already huge array of Italian restaurants in Brentwood. The costly remodel of the entrance and dog-friendly patio is beautiful and long overdue and allows the patio to feel like it is truly a part of the interior of the restaurant. The service staff is immediately welcoming and, while being constantly attentive to our needs through our meal, they are not over-hovering, which can be the tendency at a lot of the other fancy restaurants in Brentwood. The food is superb with highest quality of meats and vegetables and simply prepared. The vegetarian chopped salad, consisting of fresh chopped tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, avocado and olives on shredded romaine, is lovely and lightly dressed in vinaigrette. A fresh beet salad has sections of purple and yellow beets, with fresh asparagus and goat cheese and is tasty and wonderful. Soups are very healthy but delectable, non-thickened and consomme-based, like the minestrone this evening, full of tiny diced cooked vegetables in a very thin chicken broth, full of flavor and at the top of any comparison with other local Italian eateries. We have never the tried the pizzas, although other patrons often appear to be immensely enjoying them. We have tried the pastas and our son was raving about the superb ravioli. For meat lovers, they have a wonderful veal marsala with mushrooms, with a superb sweet marsala sauce and some of the most tender veal cutlets served at any of the west side Italian restaurants. We are usually too full to try the desserts but they always look incredible. We always look forward to coming back to this lovely local trattoria!
