We enjoyed a delicious meal at Javan. The hummus was tasty and the eggplant nice. The chicken and angus beef kabobs on basmati rice w tomatoes mouth watering. Our niese was a bit noisy and the staff treated us with such kindness and accommodation. We felt like family. Such nice staff. We will visit again soon.

This restaurant was my first time with my family to visit and dine in, the interior decor was so old , as if in the late 80s , the food was expensive not worth the money, the grills were not at all good , I didnt like the whole restaurant.

I visited LA to see my family, i was invited to this persian restaurant, i was skeptical about the food but it turned out to be one of my fav place to have persian kababs. The only down side of the food was the rice, it had the rice that wasnt pleasant. But the kababs are amazing. I personally had jojeh kabab which was to die for. My husband had baghali polo with lamb shank which he said it was amazing. And my family had kabab kubideh and gheyme stew which was good too and of course tahdig on side, yuuuummm!! For appies, we ordered mast mousir, mast khiar and kashk bademjon. I lovedddd kashk bademjon. Over all it was a good experience and definitely i would visit it again when i go back back to cali cali lol.

Yet another good Persian restaurant in west LA. Haven’t been there for a while, but used to go there at least a couple of times a month for a very long time. Although kebabs are the most popular dish im persian restaurants, i would suggest you get the lamb shank with baghali pollo (rice with fava beans). Good atmosphere with good service.

Good Food, Generous Portions. An excellent Persian restaurant which also serves large portions, but not as large as Shamshiri’s. It’s open until 11:30 or so on weekends, so it’s one of the best places for late night takeout, especially since one dish easily feeds two people. My favorite dish is their tachin, which they have only a few days per week. In a neighborhood where Persian restaurants abound, their meats are consistently good, and their whitefish has always tasted fresh and cooked nicely.
