We got a reservation for six on short notice, but what a great find. The food was excellent. We had pounded chicken, wasabi steak, burgers and mussels. Also the gruyere bread pudding starter and minted brussels sprouts were both fantastic. The location looks a little sketchy from the outside, but was very nice inside. I’ll definitely return.
Good neighborhood restaurant. I come here regularly. Good customer service. Cozy atmosphere. Consistently good food. The mac and cheese is among the best. Seasonal beer selection never disappoints. My only complaint is that the menu is rather stagnant. As a regular, I’d like to see it change up a bit more frequently.
Order the flat iron steak sandwich. The flat iron steak sandwich was nothing short of amazing. it’s usually overcooked and tasteless, but not at the Nook. YUM. All I can say, is that the food here is consistently awesome. The bread pudding is the best I’ve ever had and the mac’n’cheese is to die for. It’s tucked away in a little strip mall that most people wouldn’t notice unless they were looking for it. Keep it up Nook, you rock!
