  UPDATE – Fantastic as always! Chef/Owner Raffaele and Erin are great and are now remembering me!!! 🙂 They have my all-time favorite dish…Cacio e Pepe! After Roma, Italia, only the namesake in NYC and Pecorino do it almost just as well! If I’m within 90 minutes of Pecorino, I go! BTW…everything else on the menu is also delicious! ENJOY! Ci vediamo presto! CIAO for Now! Great dinner with all my traditional favorites, served by an Italian staff! Prosciutto e Melone – the melon could have a little more ripe; however, the Prosciutto was fantastic. I went for my all time favorite – Cacio e Pepe – and it did not disappoint. Finished in the wheel of Pecorino!The freshly made sfogliatelle were outstanding!

  Poor Service. My New year’s Eve dining experience was doomed from the start. A few hours before the reservation, I got a message stating the restaurant had cancelled my reservation. Weird. No worries, I booked again on Opentable. When we arrived, we were seated at a small table behind a blanket shielding the table from the front door and out of view of the servers. It took awhile to be served, but shortly after they brought us some stale bread and whipped butter that someone stuck their finger in. The two main courses we ordered, the signature Sole and Lobster Fettucinni, were both overlooked (while the noodles were actually undercooked). My sole was burnt. The lobster was overlooked to a chewy and tough texture, as were the undercooked noodles. The desserts were terrible — clumpy panna cotta and runny tiramisu that looked like liquid under the single layer of lady fingers in the cup. My water glass was empty most of the night. Like other reviewers stated here, I think they mess up on drink orders. I was charged for two expensive glasses of wine and the second was clearly different than the first (tasted like vinegar and was very acidic no hints of fruit and no floral nose). They managed to bring the second glass of wine after we finished dinner to boot. And then brought some water. What’s difficult here is that if you have a problem, there is no one to tell about it. So you are stuck with inferior food and beverages. Am I supposed to get up and go back to the kitchen and tell the chef during my romantic dinner? Run down my non-existant server? Ridiculous. Personally this was my worst dining experience in LA. What a shame. I live two blocks away and would have come back again and again if I had a good experience.   Italy?. This could be a village eatery in tuscany. expesive but you get what you pay for. nice room, good service and very friendly facebook.com

  Pecorino restaurant, just great. I love this restaurant. The food is just amazing, the prices are reasonable and the environment is quaint, romantic and lovely.. The thing that makes this restaurant so special is the service just unbelievably good. I love there pasta’s there is something just yummy about every pasta they make, you really can’t go wrong. I am also going to surprise you by saying they have one of the best tasting steaks in LA. Seriously, try it, great for a romantic date or a get together with family or friends. Either way you will be happy you did:)
