Tasty eclectic food. Sharp service. But the tables are so close together it’s a little ridiculous, especially for a higher end place. It’s like other people are joining our table and they’re included in our conversation whether we like it or not.
The thumbs up is solely for the roasted potatoes.. Yeah, nothing is much easier than roasted potatoes, but still, these were fantastic. Crispy-creamy-salty-oily-rosemary-and-garlic fingerlings. Shoulda skipped the breakfast sandwich and ordered double potatoes instead.Speaking of the breakfast sandwich, the sopresatta, scrambled egg and fontina was a mess. The engineering was all wrong. The egg was too thick and the sopresatta and arugula were too tough to cut with my teeth. Tasted alright, but just didn’t work as a hand-held item.
Sunday Lunch Deliight. What could be nicer than a relaxed meal in that glorious globe of soft light?
Stylish food and decor. Fantastically fresh and tasty melon and tomato salad. Great service , the right blend of friendliness and class. Beautiful place for romantic dinner or just drinks
Gustatory. Could not get reservation or seated in the quieter room for a Sunday brunch. Persevered and put two tables together for five outside on the sidewalk. An occasional noisy Ferrari interrupted our conversation. Brisket hash with two eggs and potatoes was yummy. We were hungry and my table mates enjoyed there eggs, toast and taters. Located in a former Hamburger Hamlet that I frequented decades ago.
Awful service. Mushy salmon. Not a place I would go for special occasion
Should have gone to AOC. First Goin restaurant I haven’t liked. We love Luques and A.O.C. and thought this new place would be good. It was not. Gorgeous space though. They only had about 3 waiters with multiple underlings running around delivering the mediocre food to the wrong person. Nobody asked if our food was any good. I would have told them them the grilled peaches and burratta sounded good but wasn’t. The braised pork looked good but was very bland. I wanted dessert but nobody would come to take my order. I hope she closes this place and concentrates on her other two stellar restaurants.
