First time ordering from this place. Severely disappointed. I called them to tell them they didnt put any chicken in my fried rice. Or any egg. He told me they only put a spoonful of each. There is literally no chicken or egg in my fried rice. I also ordered shrimp egg foo young… well apparently they only put a spoonful in that too which amounts to maybe 1-2 shrimp. 13 dollars for chicken fried rice with no chicken. It doesnt make any sense to me. Never again.

So worth it! We usually drive all the way to Glendale for Din Thai Fung. This place isn’t as good, but super close and very tasty. Great service even though there is a slight language barrier. We love it. Will definitely be back!

The fam wanted dim sum and we searched for a nearby establishment, and that is what brought us to The Palace. We have had plenty of dim sum from east to west coast – this was the best we’ve had! Clean restaurant, with great service (all food came out very quickly), and terrific food. The juicy buns are a must have!

Great New Westside Chinese. We had a great meal here tonight. The service was impeccable, and the host/ owner extremely accommodating and helpful. We were very impressed with the food — found it superior to VIP Harbor Seafood, which we also liked. We’re eager to go back to try the Dim Sum.Unlike Hop Li, where we also go on occasion, every dish we ordered was spot on (seems with Hop Li there’s some inconsistency). Bravo, Palace!

Disaster. Worse restaurant experience i’ve had in years. Too bad VIP is gone. This place didn’t even give us tea when we sat done. When we asked for some, the waiter was disgruntled. The food was nearly inedible, the dim sum was the worst I’ve had in LA. The service was even worse as the people pushing the carts don’t even stop to tell you what’s on their carts. When we asked one guy, he got pissed and gave us attitude. Another guy splashed dim sum juice on me when he walked by. The whole vibe was off. To top that, it was super expensive for bad food. We paid about $20 per person. That was highway robbery. What a disappointment. You couldn’t pay me to go back.
