The food & service at West was so delicious! We were greeted by the owner( former Wilhemina model)Jeff West & a very knowledgable staff. Carlos was our waiter & knew the menu impressively well. We started with the beet salad w/an olive oil powder, yes powder! & the wild mushroom salad. Yum! What a great start! My entree was the Ling Cod w/curry mussels & my friend had Hanger Steak twice baked potato w/ English Grn pea pure. Everything was so delicious & a very nice presentation. The desserts didn’t disappoint us either. My favorite is the citrus trifle. I highly recommend this restaurant! Nice view with it being the penthouse of the Angeleno Hotel. West is a hidden gem & a must try. You’ll be hooked. 🙂
