Poor value. I haven’t eaten at Stuart Andersons for around three years so thought oi would iterresting to pay a visit being nearby. But its the same old mediocre food at inflated prices. The service was fine and the restuarant itself is ok but the food/wine quality is simply not up to par. Avoid if you can. Note that the company is back in bankruptcy.
How I learned to enjoy barley.. I havent been here since I was a kid, but I have fond memories of their vegetable barley soup. I doubt if I actually had any steak – back then I did eat beef. If I did have any, I cant remember. Ah, well. The barley always stuck with me though. The ambiance is amazing. If you dig dark, mysterious places with lodge-like decor, then this is the place for you. The only negative is its located in an odd, tourist-y place.
