Second visit as great as the first. I hate the rating on this little gem because the bartenders deserve so much more credit then the rating gives them. on my second visit, it turned out my man knew the male bartender, and he was just as great as the female mixologist i came into contact with on my first visit. he was equally as charming and wonderful at mixing those old school and new school drinks that you cannot get at every bar. go yourself and help get their rating up!20 May, 2011Incredible bartender. This sweet little location is inside the O-Hotel in downtown LA, and while hotel bars are not always note worthy. this spot stands out with an adorable and excellent bartender creating amazingly creative cocktails and conversation. the interior is sleek and dark with a fire burning in the lounge so it feels cozy and nice. the bar was actually served warm cookies mid way through the evening. nice touch. i could not have stumbled upon a better bar. warning: make sure you do not have to fly out the next day cause you will without a doubt acquire a wicked hangover from the cocktail sampling and jameson with pickle backs. enjoy!
Over-priced, even at the Dine LA prices, and when we ordered the prix fixe dinner, it took a long time for each course to come out (~45 min each)
Truffle Tater Tots. This is my neighborhood hangout. The people are super friendly, and the food is delicious. The truffle tater tots are killer and their flatbreads are super.
The ambience and atmosphere are nice but that’s as far as the pleasantries go. I don’t know what the food tastes like as we waited ten minutes to be approached by a rude waitress and gave up from there. It was completely dead on a Saturday evening and I see why.
Sexy, stylish and delish!!. Love this place! I’ve been venturing DT from the Westside lately and this will definitely be my new spot! The tapas menu is awesome and inexpensive! Not to mention, the bartender remembered my name AND my poison.Great atmosphere brings this place full circle.
Secret Spot. This is my favorite little hang out when I need to get away from the crowds up the street for lunch. The food is excellent, and very generous for the price. Best lunch is the Ahi Tuna Panini and Butter Lettuce Salad
Every dish is delicious and go great with their sangria!
