Bonaventure Brewery. Food was really good. I would suggest to come in during happy hour since it’s so cheap. I got chicken tenders with a blue cheese, burger with a caesar salad, and a long beach crude beer. I had to take half of the food home since portions were so huge. My bill ended up being $11.50. How????I’m totally coming back for happy hour and good food.
Great outdoor patio. We came for lunch on the weekdays, and it’s full of business people from around. I had the steak sandwich, which was okay. They overcooked it, so it was chewy. Other people had salads and they looked really good. I wish I would have gotten a salad instead. Service was a bit slow during lunch, but maybe that was because we were in a rush. Overall, it’s a nice place to seat outside on a nice day.
+food, -beer. I had the lobster bisque and sweet potato fries, both of which were reasonably priced and tasty. Also had the sampler taster and the homebrews there ranged from fine (the pale ale) to the meh (strawberry blonde, seasonal hefe)
Unless you like salad so sweet it’ll make you sick, don’t get anything with the balsamic vinerette!! Gross. I’ve had better service at every cheap diner I’ve been to. No redemption in my visit.
Terrible seating in the back, wretched service, overcharged 21% tip on dinner for 7. What can you do? Wasn’t the waiter’s fault–so I’ll never eat there again!
Great place for a party. I celebrated my 30th birthday at the Bonaventure Brewing Company and I had the best time ever. My ten best friends decided this would be the perfect place and I was pleasantly surprised. We had 23oz beers, their house beers were the best. The staff took good care of and kept the food drinks coming. It was awesome, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a birthday!
Best Fish and Chips Around!. My wife and I go to the BBC for lunch about once a week. I ALWAYS get the fish and chips. My wife loves the Cabo salad with shrimp. They have great weekly specials as well. If you’re downtown, this is a great place for lunch or dinner. The wait staff is friendly and there is a great view from the patio.
