Awesome Red Velvet Pancakes. Now, you’re not gonna find too many folks who don’t like pancakes. And you’d probably have an equally difficult time finding folks who don’t like red velvet cake. So if the two dishes were to make sweet love, their resulting love-child would be Buttermilk’s Mini Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Pancakes. As the name implies, this is a cross between a moist red velvet cake, and fluffy pancake, with semi-sweet chocolate chips embedded within, all topped with a nice cream cheese frosting. Simply perfection.I tried these guys out last year at the Long Beach Street Food Festival, so they had a pretty limited menu. I tried a couple of items, but the Mini Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Pancakes really sticks out in my mind. Hopefully they’ll be back this year so I can try them out again.
