Great Food and great service. The waiters were attentive and the charcuterie plate was delicious. There was an impromptu performance given by the performers from the opera that had just concluded that gave an ambience to the place that made you feel like you were part of the show. If you are going to the LA Opera, it would be a mistake not to book a table at Kendall’sas part of your evening
Talk About Convenient. If you are going to the Music Center, Kendall’s Brasserie is the perfect location. Park once and be done. The food was good, our server, a fellow named Sage, was excellent, and the prices were very fair.
Perfect Pre-Performance. A meal at Kendall’s Brasserie puts you smack in the middle of LA’s cultural campus. Service is paced to make sure that you’re on time for the performance.Convenience aside, the food is good. Mussels were plump, perfectly poached in a light broth and served piping hot. Mussels can be ordered in an appetizer or entree portion size. Frittes don’t come with the mussels — have to be ordered as a side dish. The lump crab salad with grapefruit is wonderful — a stack of succulent lump crabmeat sits atop some greens and is dressed with a very delicate dressing. Service was correct and friendly.Kendall’s is directly across the street from the LA courthouse and I hear that the place is packed with the courthouse crew at lunch.
Wonderful. The nut & cheese plate was very good, pork chop excellent. Walking distance from Ahmanson, Dorothy Chandler, etc
Late night. The regular menu is good, but the ‘after theater’ hamburger is amazing.
Onion soup gratinee, moule frite and roasted beet salad were all excellent.
Lovely pre-concert lunch with great atmosphere and service by Sage … Mimosas, watermelon feta salad, grilled veggie sandwich, chocolate bread pudding, and lavender earl grey tea made a delicious begining to a fabulous afternoon of great food and moving music at the Walt Disney World Concert Hall. Can’t wait for my next visit to LA and next pre-matine luncheon!
