Was somewhat disappointed. Came for lunch at 2:30 – close to when they close for dinner prep. The food was pretty standard. I think it’s a little overhyped but I would still go back again for the brunch menu and rooftop ambience prettyundecided.blogspot.com
Came to LA chapter twice during our trip to LA and absolutely loved it. Once for brunch and another for dinner. I had the Moroccan scrambled eggs which was so delicious! The only (very minor-non-)complaint would be the serving size- it was colossal, the mountain of eggs piles on a thick layer avocado and pile of chickpeas made it hard to eat and not make a huge mess. The cocktail I had accompanying it was also divine, can’t remember the name but it was grapefruit and Ros.The dinner we had was also delightful, we sat on the mezzanine overlooking the main restaurant. Although the service was a little slow due to how busy it was, the waitress was upfront about it which I liked. I had the pan roasted chicken and my friend had the 5 leaves burger. My chicken was beautifully cooked and very juicy, the green hummus and shards of pita crisps were a lovely accompaniment. Overall great atmosphere, great food and interesting pencil artwork on the walls.
Cute brunch spot in dtla located in the Ace Hotel. Street and valet parking. If you have time, head up to the roof for a drink after. Laid back atmosphere during the day.
LA Chapter is a great option for a quick coffee, breakfast lunch or dinner. Extremely accommodating staff, well balanced and focused menu, phenomenal avocado toast.
