Beautiful building , huge restaurant , bit loud . Our dishes came out really fast . So can’t complaint about service. Waiters were attentive . Food tasted great. The only problem I had , seemed like chicken mole was seating in a fridge for a wile and they warmed it up to serve but chicken still was cold in side , around bones. My friend had sauted cod that was really good and we like the side salad.
Service was great but food was AWFUL. Since California is so close to Mexico you would think the food would resemble the traditional Latin cuisine. I ordered a beef taco and the cheddar cheese did not compliment the food and the beef was not fresh ground beef like the menu advertised. It resembled corned beef hash. The salsa and chips we received before the meal are the only reason I didn’t leave hungry.
Food was ok, not worth the price. Lots of great special drink options and the service was good.
Chicken Tacos had an extra crunchy shell but good. No draft beers, only bottles and mixed drinks.
Cool,cool,. We went for brunch on sunday, great experience the huevos rancheros were great, don’t like black beans in general. the pambazos great pretty good also. I will bring some of my friends. it reminds me of some restaurants in Mexico City, that offers the Mexican cuisine but at a higher level Congratulations they also have a great bar. Please, Please don’t compare to the many mexican places that serve the usual mexican food. this is a higher level of the same with quality ingredients Gracias Mas Malo!
Margaritas are exceptional. Habanero creme salsa, margaritas, and steak tacos are delicious! However, this is but the place to go if you’re looking for a quiet place…very loud and the seating/table arrangements can be better.
Mas Malo. I loved the building and decor, although the service was slow. Food arrived fast after ordering, but the waiter was MIA a lot. Carnitas with guacamole and corn tortillas are tasty.
