Pretty good food if you’re in the area looking to grab a quick bite. Its not the best I’ve had but it is decent.It is a small restaurant with parking on the streets so no need to worry about meters. The Horchata and the shrimp taco were the highlight for me and the salsa bar is pretty cool. Not a must have to drive for but great for a grabbing quick meal.Visit date 6/21/2015
Good, but not in the same league as some of the top gourmet taco places in LA, such as Guerrilla or Guisados. This is much more ordinary, and surprisingly bland and greasy. Intriguing menu but the actual food is not too remarkable.
So……let me just say…..place is not what I thought for the hype!…..we drove from San Diego for this place! Overpriced so called street tacos! Let me tell you….ya it’s a taqueria! But they are over staffed and no one does a thing! It’s like you go to someone house for tacos and they’re bothered by your arrival! Like uhhhh I have to work here ? Anyway let’s get to the food….tacos were ok but pricey! And the menu is limited! Kinda like there is what there is or get out! Chips were overpriced as well! And those picnic tables are annoying! If you are local it’s fine but the place is a joke! And I’m from Mexicali and the name is misleading! Not authentic what so ever! You get better service and deal at Ayala tacos in LA!!!! Trust me! I’m obsessed with tacos!!! Or Frescas in Anaheim!!!!
