Wonderful In Every WayOrsa and Winston is a quite small, intimate restaurant. The type that is rare to find in the gastropub crazed DTLA scene. Being small, reservations are a must and require a CC deposit.Serving a 6 course tasting menu, the chef prepares perfectly plated, culinary taste sensations. Having dined several times, the variety and ingenuity are worth coming back over and over. Portions are quite reasonable in size, and service is superb!Treat yourself and you won’t be disappointed.

Orsa & Winston is as good as it gets. Fine dining in a beautifully designed and casual space in DTLA. There is a very affordable tasting menu with a wine pairing and a dozen other dishes you can add to your meal. facebook.com

First time dining here and truly happy for Chef Josef Centeno to serve a tasting menu. We chose the 6 courses and upgraded to the foie gras supplement which is worth more than the $10 charge. Yes, LA has foie gras again! Not seared but this preparation honors the flavor that is foie gras.Best seats in the house have a clear view of the open kitchen – true ringside! We dined at the table closest to the entrance- window seats! Ambience is true to Downtown LA #DTLA with industrial, minimalistic design but it feels comfortable and intimate. Dined with 2 of my closest friends – party of 3 – best guy friend and best college friend – without our significant others…that would be minus 1.Duck skin was very crispy and well prepared. The satsuki rice porridge was the stuff of Gods. So rich. Super creamy. Chowder is what surrounds it and it’s an understatement as listed on the menu. It’s a powerful and strong dish. The asparagus has a crunch to it. Mark of vegetables done right.Choose the 10 course if you have an appetite. Chefs here truly love food and you can taste it and see it in their thoughtful preparation to honor flavor and careful plating. The staff ask did their part to showcase and honor the food. Orsa & Winston is for approachable special occasions and nights out best spent with people you know and people who know you. Friends and family.
