If you are looking for affordable Japanese food in the DTLA area, Wokcano is the place to be. Their food is delightful and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The food deserves a special mention because they have loads of vegetarian/vegan options. Being a vegetarian, its tough to find good food sometimes. I was kind of apprehensive about this place but to my surprise, there were many veg options. The place is easily accessible and right opp the Metro station. Thanks for a good dinner!
I Went to this place for a late dinner, the service was pretty disappointing. To start with the person at the desk was confused, she could not decide where to give us the seat. After being seated, about fifteen minutes no one came to take order. The food was nothing exciting either. Overall a disappointing evening, I may not choose to visit this place again
I have been to this place with a bunch of friends. This place has a really nice ambience and good seating area. I have been to this place for late dinner which was average. But this place is nice place to hangout as it is opened till 2 am.
Was completely disappointed in the sushi and the service. The seaweed salad was great.
Really good. Really enjoyed the food. 4 of the 5 people loved their dishes. These ranged from the salmon, lo mean, emperors beef and shrimp. I’d stay away from the teriyaki chicken though. All in all it was great value, good service, and I would go again.
Awesome Mongolian beef! Wonton soup not so great though. My hubby loved his sushi too. Beautiful decor and ambiance, esp for a midnight meal.
Lots of style, not much taste. Yes, it’s hip and chic. The service was first rate, even though we had a trainee. But the food? Sorry, but not great. We ordered a variety for our table to share. No real standouts. Left disappointed that the food didn’t match the atmosphere. Moving on….
