Good for the family. Buchanan is a great pub for a more relaxed, low-key evening. Great for the whole family, or a night at the bar. Service is always good and friendly, family owned and operated too. They offer all the standard pub food, fish ‘n chips, bangers and mash(scotish style, with batter), roast beef and yorkshire pudding along with some more contemporary salads, curry soup and some suprisingly good slow cooked pork and barbeque! All the great ales, porters and stouts are on tap and they have full service bar too. Buchanan Arms is a great alternate to the louder and smaller pubs in the valley.
