Living in Burbank Ive been wanting to try all the cool little spot this being one of them.I had a day of and finally decided to check this place out for lunch. Walked in, it was very dark, natural light from outside, which is fine with me.I looked at the menu and I was in decisive between two things on the lunch menu. The lunch menu is basically a few dishes a bit cheaper than regular price for less of a portion.Unfortunately is was some of the worse Cuban food Ive tasted. The ropa vieja was tasteless, good for someone unaware of what it should actually taste like. I ordered the Moro rice which was just meh, I would probably recommend ordering the regular stuff and mixing it yourself. The steamed yucca with garlic, well it had no garlic. Maybe they steam both the yucca and garlic and the flavors just dont combine. The best thing about this place is the mojitos. They were awesome.Um happy hour from 11am-6pm yes please hahahahaFor all us drinkers that day! This was great! Service wasnt bad at all. I went around 12pm and sat near the bar area. Its a cute little place and I would swing by for a mojito but I would pass on the rest.
