Having just flown in from a 12 hour flight, we wanted quick and easy food and good beer. My brother was raving about the place and at the end of the night, also were we. After a beer sampler, I zeroed in on what Id spend the night with, the light beer at the top of menu was great. Artichoke dressing with bread, the nachos, chicken ceasar salad and copping it off with the Kobe Burger (split for husband and wife) with garlic fries on the side, washing it all down with a bottle of Merlot. Super night. Becky our server was just on to it, she was great.
This is a very nice spot on the main drag in Burbank. We sat outside in the shaded open air. It took a bit until the server noticed us, but after that things moved along well. The beer choices and sizes were nice. The garlic fries were as good as described. The seafood chop salad was very good and fresh and it was a meal. The grilled chicken salad was very good too. And we noticed they were dog friendly outdoors too.

GORDON BIERSCH BEST BEER AND BURGERS IN TOWN. MARZAN BURGER AND RIBEYE STEAK HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR HOST TO GREET? 2 MinutesTIME IT TOOK TO BE GREETED BY SERVER ? Less than one minuteDID SERVER TALK ABOUT SPECIALS? YES, she talk about the burger of the week and soupsWAS SHE HELPFUL WITH MENU? She was honest about the menu and answered all my questions.DID SERVER COME BACK AFTER TWO MINUTES? She came back after 10 seconds then again at two minutes ( I really liked that)HOW WAS THE FOOD? I ordered the ribeye . It was cooked to perfection its hard to get a perfect medium steak loved it big portions. my husband ordered the marzan burger cooked perfect again( medium) the thing about their burgers the more its cooked the more it loses its flavor so it came out nice and juicy.EXTRA COMMENTSOur lunch and server were perfect i give a 5 out of 5 starsour server seemed very genuine and was really concerned about us.. Also when we were there we saw one of the Jonas brothers there the one with the curly hair so its kind of neat seeing stars while you dine too. BUT THE REAL STAR OF THIS STORY IS THE FOOD 🙂
