Santoro’s = Good Grub!. Dear Mr. Santoro … don’t be alarmed, but I think I’m a stalker. Every time I drive by your unassuming sub shop, I really can’t resist the urge to intensely stare in your direction, longing for you … needed one of your mouth-watering sandwiches. I’m just saying … we should be together. Because when I’m munching on one of your crispy Italian rolls, filled with your freshly sliced deli meats, some yellow mustard, and the heaven that is your special blend of toppings … there’s only one way to describe it …. Grub obsession. Let’s back up for a second, because it would be sinful to gloss over the aforementioned blend of toppings. To me, it’s what makes Santoro’s uniquely GRUB-worthy. It’s a party about to explode in your mouth of diced ripe tomatoes, crisp onions, pickley pickles, all splashed with olive oil, topped with a shake of Salt-n-Pepa, and then the kick that turns it from love to lust … a healthy sprinkle of oregano. If they loaded it up in little jello-sized cups, I’m pretty sure packed lunches would become instantly more delicious. Our Grub buddy Jim R. went for the turkey … a solid choice, and our GRUB-mate Stefan L. is a die-hard believer in the roast beef. But back when I was a little Grub, my partner in crime Blake H., introduced me to this sandwich glory-land with the sub of all subs … the hot pastrami. As I start to try to explain it, just understand, that it’s unexplainable. If only everything in my life could be this tender … or flavorful … or juicy? … ok this is getting a little weird, even for me. But trust me my follower of Grub, if your mission is to chow down on some deliciousness; if your goal is to find all that is good in the world of food; then look no further and hop on that flavor train down to Burbank for a little Santoro’s … population of GRUB.
Not The same…to bad. Been going here for 40 years not in the last two years it has just gone down hill…meatballs had no flavor..and our italian cold cuts was just bad bread was stail..to badim done with this place..

YUMMMY. I LOVE this place. The food was delicious. i had a peppersteak with cheese and they a few toppings to choose from i didn’t know how to get it so they recommended with just seasoning on top and man where they right it was PERFECT. peppersteak and cheese with just seasoning is the way to go. i hope you enjoy this place as much as i did.
GOOOOOOD!. The place sells tasty sandwiches. however, the staff seems to have a somewhat cold attitude towards people. i don’t know–maybe it’s years of working in place surrounded by cold cuts. i like the onion, tomato, and pickles garnish. very good. also, the place has not moved into the 21st century as the owner accepts only cash payment.
