This is not authentic Thai. They served rice with the pad Thai lunch special, no lime to be had or peanut garnish. The Pad Thai was way too sweet but so were the owners…not all bad. The menu is mixed with other Asian influences. Personally, I like my Thai food real and authentic – gotta drive to Hollywood, I guess. This place is clean and the food is edible, but there is better to be had.
The presentation of the food is beautiful! My wife if Thai and had the pineapple curry, she said it is just like grandma makes! I had the Papaya. Salad did not like it they took it back tried to fix it but still did not like it. They wanted to try to fix it again or get me somthing else. The really put an effort into making customer happy! Good place!
Great food – odd service. They tend to deliver the dishes as they cook, so if you are eating lunch with colleagues, you could be done with your lunch before they receive their dishes.
Excellent.. I have eaten Thai all over Los Angeles, mostly in Thai town, being that my business partner’s wife is Thai. There are a lot of bad restaurants out there. To find such a gem in Burbank is just unreal. It is without a doubt top five in LA and this is Burbank. They use white meat chicken, this is a major plus. Nothing ruins curry more than chewing on chicken fat and tendon. You could eat on the floor. The husband and wife that own it run it like it was their own house. You will often see Jay Leno parked in the shopping center. Are these enough reasons yet? I eat there every week. See you there.
I’ve been to every Thai resturant in the Burbank area, and Saraya beats them all hands down. The best Pad Thai ever, and that’s not given out lightly.
Nice, Clean, Good Food and Service. I enjoyed a simple lunch there today, Basil Leaves with Chicken was tasty. It also came with a scoop of rice and salad. This place is nice with simple decoration, it is so clean as almost spotless. The servers are very friendly and attentive.
