Whoa …totally unimpressed…rendition and presentation of Asian food is a joke…extra cost for whats expected in a meal (miso, rice etc) …where is Chef Ramsey when you need him? Its great, I suppose, if you dont know what Asian food is suppose to be like! Over priced and poor quality…the servers were polite…cant knock the service….Just was not what K expected in this area…between this and cooking at home….cook at home.

Bad Food. We meant to go to The Backhouse for lunch, we went to Wokcano instead because The Backhouse stops serving lunch. These two joints are just one place with two entrances and names.Wokcano is another crossover Asian restaurant, you’ll find Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai items on the menu; and non-Asian sushi chefs as well.I ordered Fish Filets with Asparagus, and my co-workers had Double Kung Pao and Shrimp with Broccoli. All dishes came with steamed rice and salad. Salad mixed with lettuce, creamy dressing and fried wonton skins; we found pieces of unpleasant outside leaves. My fish dish was cooked in black bean sauce, it’s salty to my taste. We also shared a spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll. None of us liked our food. We all complained the bad aftertaste we had.It has a nice decoration and prompt service, but we still won’t go back to have bad food.

Orange Chicken & Fortune Cookies. The Orange Chicken is so crispy and saucy and goes perfect on their perfectly cooked rice. Also, the Fortune Cookies have been dipped in white chocolate — wow!

This place was great. We walked in for lunch on a Friday and was served very quickly. I ordered a spicy tuna roll an the double Kung Pao chicken with shrimp. The tuna roll was run of the mill but very fresh if not a little sloppy. Good flavor though. The double Kung pao was very good with just enough heat. The portions are very generous especially seeing how a side salad is served before hand. Overall I walked out under $20 and very well satisfied. This locations decor is very well done making not only a great lunch place but also an evening contender.
