Burritos are the only safe bet here. I ordered enchiladas today and it was awful. They were smothered with the most bitter enchilada sauce I’ve ever had. And they even charge you for chips here. That’s like being charged for bread at a restaurant. I say burritos are the only good thing on the menu, but you can get burritos that are just as good or better from a place like Olas or Establos.
Terrible food. HORRIBLE!!! Service was lousy, food was terrible. My burrito was just rice, barely any meat and they forgot the beans and salsa. My first and last trip there

CLUELESS!!!!. We have been going to Bobbis for years, from back in the Oxnard days. After moving away( for 4 years) and then back we thought would go to one of our all time favorites. Wow were we disappointed!!!!!! What the heck happened??? The menu has been downsized to about 25% of the original size, the staff is clueless (apparently there are no managers and the new owners only show up during lunch hour) so my questions about old favorites and the new taste went unanswered. They say the new owners are family but no sign at all of that. I mean what kind of restaurant do you go into that doesn’t have some sort of shift manager to do any trouble shooting going on? Chips have to be paid for now? Come on and the salsa is pre-packaged? The prices are thru the roof and actually it doesn’t taste at all like the old Bobbis everyone loved. RIP old Bobbis 🙁 cuz the new one is already dead
This place used to be good years ago. The problem is they keep raising the prices and shrinking the burritos. Rising prices is a necessary evil but they need to concentrate on bringing their quality back to the standards I remember from years ago. This place will try to pinch every penny out of your pocket by charging for water glasses, chips, etc. Go somewhere else.
Rob. When I lived in Ventura, I was addicted to Jonnie’s on the Avenue. When I moved back to Camarillo, I tried all the Mexican food restaurants – till I found Bobbi’s! I was not too surprised to find that Bobbi is related to the late Jonnie. Absolutely the best – haven’t eaten anything there I dont’ like, great salsa bar, and friendly employees. We’ve began serving Bobbi’s burritos in our snack bar at Camarillo High School Volleyball snackbar, and now fans and officials from all schools look forward to coming to ACHS just for the burritos – and they enjoy a little vball while they’re here. 🙂
