I’ve been here a couple of times with friends and family. I have brought my 1 year old each time. The service was ok but one of the servers ( an older woman) would not stop cleaning every little speck of food my son dropped during the meal. I am not the type of person to let my son go wild and make a huge mess. She literally crawled under the table for a good 5 minutes while.we were eating and tryin to enjoy our meal picking up every little thing. Apperantly she could not have waited until we were finished to simply sweep the crumbs off the floor with a broom. She would not leave us alone! Everytime she passed by us (which was often) she intruted in and obsessively cleaned! I did not feel welcome and felt as though she cared more about the floor than our service. I haven’t been back there since.
Great service, sushi was very fresh, and portion sizes were large for the money. Just passing through on business with a Japanese coworker and he also thought it was very good sushi. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed if looking fir some great tasting sushi.
Great sushi at a great price. The place was packed and akward to get seated at first. We ended up at the bar and Masa prepared our food. He was very friendly and the other customers were regulars. The prep habits seemed to be a bit dirty but I’m always on the paranoid side.
We’ve eaten here a dozen times & have never had bad service. It’s a small restaurant that fills up VERY quickly on Fridays & Saturday nights so get there early or don’t go. Great, fresh sushi. Best dish: yellowtail tataki.
This is one of the best places to eat sushi in Ventura county. Always fresh. You have to try the beach balls! Excellent!!
We waited over an hour for warm sushi and when we complained we were shown to the door. The worst sushi I have ever had! Do not eat here!
