Best Mexican Food. I have eaten at El Taco Llama, at least once a week, for about 8 years. It is, by far, my favorite Mexican restaurant – fancy or fast food included. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the staff is always friendly. I have a preference for the Canoga Park location. For lunch, dinner or catering, I choose El Taco Llama, when I’m in the mood for Mexican cuisine.

The most digusting nachos I have ever had…. This was the most disgusting and overpriced plate of nachos I have ever had. I ordered the Nachos Supreme on 8/28/08 which was supposed to have chicken, beans, cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. When I got home and opened the container, all I saw was lettuce and chips. When I dug deeper, I found large chunks of jalapenos, pico de gallo, and some spoiled-tasting, chunks of chicken – no cheese, no guacamole, and no beans. How can you make nachos without any cheese? It basically looked like they piled all of their leftover scraps on a pile of chips. And before anyone assumes that I must have done something to deserve bad food – that’s not the case. I was pleasant and eager to try a new Mexican restaurant in the area. I should have turned around and walked out when I saw that there was only one other customer in the restaurant at 6:00pm. To top it off, the nachos were $7.00, which is more expensive than most other Mexican Fast Food joints. I have been curious about this place for a while, but I will never go back . What a ripoff! I am guessing that the two previous people who reviewed this restaurant either own the place or are friends of the owner. I am going to pray that I don’t get hepatitis after eating just a few bites of this disgusting meal….
