Ok a real review about Go’s. This place is not worth the price. Sushi with gold and synthetic truffle oil are you kidding. People are ranting about this, in Westhills serious? Soy sauce containers were stuck to tables. Sushi in a mart is a never never ever. It’s a highly respected and presented by the master chef not a dirty ass mart. Pushing those aside the sushi cut is not excellent for price. Prices are not even market. Better then what you take home maybe but that can even be bought sushi grade. Go is definitely not buying top dollar fish, fish to fool westhills yes. Not knocking his own take on sushi but not mouth posing specially with filth. Now roaches on floor and under table um ok, westhills I like to call woodland hills inner city ya’ll can have it. So check the picks and enjoy the filth Roach rolls take to go after its 100$ to Go’s.

The real deal!. This was the best food and sushi I’ve ever had and now I’m spoiled because I don’t live there anymore! Darn, I miss this treasure that many don’t know about. Thank you for such memorable meals. Incredible if you want the real thing.

Worth the money. Flat out, Go will not open if he doesn’t like the fish selection at the market that day. If that doesn’t say something, nothing does. Be prepared to spend money, though, and be prepared for the awesomeness to come.

It’s a secret. Please don’t tell your friends. This is the best sushi in la. Matsuhisa is a ghetto next to this tiny strip mall icon. No disrespect but if you dream of the best secret sushi bar nobody knows about this is it. Come w money and no ego. This guy is the Yoda of sushi chefs. Good luck finding him. Please. Don’t tell anyone!

Simply the best. THE BEST. PERIOD.For me a temple. Go-san is a bearer of the flame. One cannot find better anywhere. (in the world)By far the best in L.A.BELIEVE ME, I KNOW.Pay no attention to those who complain about high price. This is truly great food. It is worth what the best commands. If price is your only concern go to an all you can eat place and leave those who appreciate brilliance in peace.

Best Kept Secret In LA…. …Okay. Look. This is the best sushi you’re going to eat, anywhere. But, you’ve gotta work for it (it’s 20 miles outside of LA, up the 101) and you’re gonna have to pay a premium for it (before you know it you’re over $100/person…without saki).Go’s been around for a long, long time. You thought Nozawa was cutting fish in a rundown strip mall first? You thought Hamasaku was serving Michelin 3 star food in a rundown strip mall first? Think again. All you can expect here is about 500 square feet, a sushi bar and Go. The couple next to you most likely run a fish import business or sell restaurant knives or farm sea urchin in San Diego. Trust me. Those are the people who swear by this place. So what do you get for driving all the way to Canoga Park and paying an arm and a leg? Pure decadence. Expect gold leaf and truffles and the rarest of acoutremont used subtly and delicately. Not as flare. Not irresponsibly.Expect the freshest exotic fish and the most incredible presentations and combinations of flavors. Heard of Oya? The sushi restaurant in Boston that got voted best RESTAURANT in the country? Forget it. That chef needs to apprentice with Go.
