Coming from Arizona, was pleasantly surprised to find TexMex style food. Ordered the Tacolada with Chicken, a side of rice, covered in TexMex red sauce, and yellow cheese; it was awesome! We will be back soon!
Great Food! Great service. This family own business did a great job feeding a large party of 16 (10 were kids). Food was good and quick. Try the chimichanga it was Delicious. If you get a chance talk to the owner, her grandmother opened the restaurant back in the 60’s. You should see her helping around the restaurant. You can taste the love she has for the place.
I was not impressed. Chips were great, but went downhill from there. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. Beef tamale had a strange taste, with an odd beef broth sauce on it. Burrito was better but kinda blah.
Best Mexican Food In Town. This place has the best mexican food i have had. I have been eating there for years, it is very affordable and the taste is very consistent. The service is great. It is a very child friendly family atmosphere. I can not say enough good things about this retuarant.
Good basic Mexican. Nothing fancy at this place. Just off the beach. Their other location is in Truckee, CA. So you can get you fix in the Winter while you ski and feed the need while you work on your tan in the Summer. Menu is the same in both locations. I enjoy their enchiladas and tacos. Family-owned and real fair pricing. Stop by, grab a Dos XX and spice up you day.
