Unconscionable Customer Service. Reservations made well in advance for a birthday dinner on a Friday night – all is well until the restaurant called *that day* to cancel the reservations because they had a large party. I could understand someone wanting *all* of the restaurant (and I’m not sure the party did) but not to call until the DAY OF the reservations, particularly since they were already aware of the special-occasion of a non-party reservation, is unconscionably bad customer service. They won’t be getting return service from our group of friends.

Seaside glory!. Amazing views no matter where you sit. There are two patios, a full bar, and a varied menu of tasty dishes. The restaurant is cozy, and the staff was friendly and knowledgable. A great place for a date, be it lunch or dinner. A favorite go to place for me and my friends.

Stockton Bridge Grille. I want to like this restaurant, I really do. But I’m continually disappointed. They make an attempt to be a little innovative, but it always falls short of the mark, and their service can be atrocious. The first time we went, I ordered the duck egg rolls. There were large bones in both of my two small eggrolls when I got them. The waitress didn’t even apologize, she just looked at them in an odd way, and left the plate on our table so I had to stare at them for the rest of the meal. The second time we went I had a passable, if boring pasta entree, the service was better. The last time we went was horrible. We went on a cold, foggy summer evening. We just wanted appetizers and drinks, and told the host we’d be glad to sit outside at the narrow little bar(nobody was sitting outside because it was so cold) so as not to take up valuable table space inside. He looked at us like we were less than human for not actually wanting to have a full meal, and proceeded to either sneer, or ignore us for the rest of the evening. We probably would have ordered more food and definitely more drinks if we had had better service, but it was clear our business was not wanted. Sad, considering I’m local and I’ll be helping local businesses stay in busines during the off-season.Expensive, spotty food, and spotty to terrible service. The one bright spot: The oysters rockefeller are very good.

Casual lunch or dinner on the beach. I have only had lunch here since they reopened. Prices are fair and they have limited patio seating. They have a varied menu and fair wine list. One of the best places in the Village to eat.
